Areldor
The world of Areldor is a vast and ancient kingdom steeped in magic, history, and deep traditions. The forests, mountains, and plains of this land are home to many races, each living in its own way, often without interfering with one another.
In the east lie the forests of Nerilum - dense, ancient woodlands covering vast territories. Here reigns the race of Sylvanors, descendants of the ancient spirits of the forest. They prefer solitude and rarely interact with the outside world. To them, the forest is life, and they protect it with utmost reverence and devotion.
To the south stretches Kalaras, the majestic city of humans. Its white-stone walls rise above the hills, protecting the city from any enemies. The people of Areldor focus on developing their crafts, science, and magic, striving to maintain a balance between tradition and innovation.
The western mountains conceal within their depths Gorgrimm - massive underground cities of the dwarves. These masters of forging and construction labor in their deep halls, crafting weapons and armor renowned for their durability and magical properties. The dwarves are known for their patience and resilience. Their kingdom thrives thanks to its inexhaustible resources and exceptional talents.
In the north, beneath the cold sky, lies Ostridor - a majestic sanctuary of the elves. These graceful and powerful beings are known for their longevity and wisdom. Magic and nature are intertwined in their lives, and they are the keepers of ancient knowledge forgotten by most races.
All these kingdoms lived in relative peace for many centuries, maintaining a delicate balance upheld by the wisdom and diplomacy of their rulers. Despite existing conflicts and disagreements, a common alliance and respect for traditions helped preserve harmony. Yet, beneath the peace lay an undercurrent of unease, as if the very land whispered of impending change.
The prophecy of the coming threat and the temple of Adobe
For centuries, deep beneath the earth of Areldor, ancient and sinister beings known as demons have been concealed. These creatures were embodiments of primal darkness and chaos. The demons were not always trapped in the bowels of the earth — once, they roamed the surface of Areldor, spreading destruction and chaos. However, after the great war, in which all races united to save the world, they were sealed deep within the earth's core by powerful spells cast by ancient wizards. Magical seals bound their power and prevented them from returning to the surface.
Their imprisonment lasted for thousands of years, until the dwarves began to dig too deep in search of the rarest and most powerful mineral — Astralite. This stone contained magical power that could become a source of unimaginable might. The dwarves of Gorgrimm saw in Astralite a way to strengthen their cities, weapons, and armor, giving their people a tremendous advantage over the rest. They dug deeper and deeper, unaware that their greed and pursuit of power were disturbing the peace of an ancient evil.
The magical seals that held the demons began to weaken. The energies of Astralite, pulsating deep within the earth, began to attract and fuel the imprisoned forces. One of the ancient prophecies stated:
«When the earth is disturbed by greedy hands, and the light of Astralite spills onto the world, the ancient dark forces will awaken from their slumber. Demons will rise from the depths of the earth, and the time of great trial will come. Only within the walls of the Temple of Adobe, where the key to the magical seal is kept, can the answer to the threat be found. But to enter, one must bring ancient artifacts, lost centuries ago in the chaos of wars.»
The Temple of Adobe was an ancient structure built by mages and priests after the victory over the demons. It was located in the northwest of Areldor, hidden by magical barriers and protections that could only allow the chosen few to enter. This temple was built around a magical seal that kept the demons in the depths, and its walls held knowledge capable of stopping the awakening darkness.
The knowledge of the Temple of Adobe was long kept only among priests and wizards, and its location was known to only a few. Now, as the prophecies began to come true, all the peoples of Areldor realized that their future depended on those who could enter the temple and uncover its ancient secrets.
The dwarves, realizing their guilt for awakening the evil, began searching for a way to atone for their mistakes, sending envoys to other kingdoms in the hope of finding allies. However, tensions between the races began to rise — humans, elves, and sylvanars blamed the dwarves for the events unfolding. The world was rapidly approaching chaos and desperately needed heroes capable of uniting the peoples and saving Areldor from inevitable destruction.
The Main Population of Alerdor
Elves
Elves are an ancient race whose roots go back to the depths of the ages, long before the first humans and dwarves began to build their kingdoms. They live in harmony with nature, possessing natural grace, longevity, and a profound understanding of magic. Each elf has a deep connection to the world around them, allowing them to control the elements and sense the vibrations of existence itself.

Humans
Humans are the most numerous and diverse race of Alerdor, with a history rich in heroism, conquests, and great discoveries. While humans do not possess the long lifespan of elves or the magical prowess of ancient races, their strength lies in their undying spirit, their quest for new knowledge, and their ability to survive in any conditions.

Dwarves
Dwarves are an ancient race of Alerdor, known for their strength, mastery in blacksmithing, and deep connection with the mountain depths. Dwarves are inhabitants of majestic underground cities and tunnels carved from the very heart of the earth. They take pride in their traditions, families, and glorious past, which is filled with great feats and discoveries.

Silvanars
Silvanars are a race hidden from most mortal races. They are neither spirits of nature nor magical creatures. Their essence comes from the depths of the earth. Silvanars are as ancient as the forests themselves, and their people have witnessed the birth of all great civilizations. They live underground, in a world of deep caves and subterranean rivers.
In Alerodore, rare magical creatures are also encountered, such as demons, orcs, skeletons, dragons, and other mutants, which make up the minority.
